Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026
We keep this short and plain. We don't ask for your name, email or payment details, and we never sell your personal information.
Who we are
The Fresh Bowl Report (thefreshbowlreport.com, "we", "us") is an independent website that publishes guides and reviews about fresh dog food. We are not owned by, operated by, or endorsed by The Farmer's Dog, Inc. or any brand we write about.
Information we collect
- Information you type in the Bowl Check. Answers and the optional dog name stay in your browser. They are not sent to us.
- Technical information. When you visit, we automatically receive standard data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the ad or link that brought you here (for example UTM parameters or a Facebook click ID).
- Emails you send us. If you write to us, we receive your email address and message, and use them only to reply.
Cookies, Meta Pixel and Conversions API
We use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API to measure our ads and show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. These tools may set cookies (such as _fbp and _fbc) and share event data with Meta Platforms, Inc.: page views, clicks to an offer, and purchases confirmed by our affiliate network. Identifiers are pseudonymous; we do not send your name, email or phone number to Meta.
Affiliate links
Some links are affiliate links. If you click one and buy, we may receive a commission through an affiliate network (MaxBounty) at no extra cost to you. The link carries an anonymous click identifier so the commission can be credited. Your order, payment and delivery are handled entirely by the merchant under its own privacy policy and terms.
How we use information
- To measure which pages and ads work, and improve them.
- To report confirmed purchases to Meta so our ads reach people likely to be interested.
- To keep the site secure and working, and to answer your messages.
Retention and security
Click data we store for attribution is deleted after 8 days. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting. The site is served over HTTPS, and access to our tools is limited to the people who run the site.
Your choices and rights
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Opt out of interest-based ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, at optout.aboutads.info, or in your device settings.
- Residents of California and other U.S. states with privacy laws may ask to know, access or delete personal information we hold about them. We will verify and answer within the time the law requires. We do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context advertising beyond the Meta measurement described above, and you can opt out of that at any time by contacting us.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
